Do Metal Roofs Attract EMF?

Many people hope that a metal roof will protect them from potentially harmful EMFs surrounding the household. Although there is some validity to this, the installation of a metal roof for the protection of your home against EMFs is a double-edged sword.

A metal roof will reflect any existing EMFs on the outside of your home, which is beneficial, as you and your family will not be exposed to additional magnetic fields and electrical currents that may not be coming from you at all. On the other hand, EMFs that are produced from inside your home may be amplified, as the metal roof and walls will simply reflect these frequencies back into the home.

For homes that are not wired properly, stray electrical currents may even use metal structures in the home to travel from source to source. This can create even stronger EMFs within the household. Further, in the early 90s, Dr. Robert Becker published a book that described the human body’s reaction to EMFs. He described reactions of bacterial cultures responding to EMF exposure in a way that suggested that the culture “believed” (for lack of a better word) it was being attacked by the immune system. This resulted in the production of more virulent toxins as a protective defense, which would theoretically lead to the declining health of the human host.

How to Reduce the Effects of Heavy Metals and Radiation

Exposure to such circumstances can be quite dangerous, so you must do all you can to prevent the decline of your health. Below are a few things you can do to protect your health against the potential effects of EMFs:

Researchers have not yet reached a consensus on the effects of EMFs on the human body, especially when protected by metal instruments such as metal roofs or EMF shields.
